“Lift” features 13 original songs written by Dave and includes co-writes with a lineup of superb songwriters – Matt Andersen, Jim Dorie, Catherine MacLellan, Thom Swift, John Meir, Sally Spring, Ray Stewart and Jamie Robinson.

This project came together very quickly and organically, with effort placed on maintaining an honest acoustic sound to reflect the live shows. I produced the recording myself with help and encouragement from JP Cormier, Thom Swift and Jamie Robinson. I hope that people will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the process of making it. Good, bad or otherwise, it’s me.” – Dave Gunning
